faria temp sender

got a block temp sender/gauge and am having all sorts of trouble finding a place for it (73 evinrude 115 ob). i know the sender has to make contact and is supposed to go through a head bolt but can't find one to make this happen.
anybody done this?

You need a solid electrical ground as well as a firm thermal base for the sender. Using one of the cylinder head bolts is best.
