Shopping the iboats store, I found a "Voltmeter, 8-18 VDC - Teleflex Marine" that looks to match the tan oem gauges of my Lund.. It should arrive anyday now.. From what I have read, they are an easy install.. One wire to gnd, one to ignition.. Do I take that from the key start ? Which contact is the ignition ? Can I connect the light bulb lead there as well ?
Thanks for the assist.

Daisy chain the purple and black from the tach for voltage, daisy chain the blue from the tach for back-lighting...

You are not looking for an "ignition" terminal. Gauges get power from the "A" (accessory) terminal on the ignition switch (the key switch). Terminals are labeled on the back of the switch. As Seabob also said, all three of the wires on the voltmeter (light, ground and +12 volts) can be picked up at any other gauge except a speedometer. It is mechanical so it does not have a +12 volt terminal.
