I have twin 175HP 2 strok OB's on my boat. I'm thinking of putting a water seperator on it. The local marina is telling me 1 per engine, West Marine says one with 2 ports will work.

Any tips?

Re: Water seperator

I picked up my boat from winter storage tonight, and didn't get to look at my fuel system real well, but from what I could see, my mounting location is going to be a real pain, but, I can do it if I run extra hose to it. Does anyone know if there are any limits on the hose length?

There is no practical limit on hose length. Figure those motors could use 17.5 Gal/hour of fuel. Size water seperator(s) appropriately. You could get by with one seperator if it is 40 Gal/hour of more. Fuel line must be 3/8" to each motor, and I would think 1/2" to the fuel tank.
