I have a boat that I just purchased and the previous owner told me it was repainted recently. It is a deep blue and I want to add a logo onto it. Is there a certain type of paint I should use to paint the logo? This would be on the side of the boat, not under water, but would get wet when running, etc.

I suggest having it made of marine-grade vinyl via a local sign shop. You can install it via a wet application technique.

If you are interested, we can add more info. Also, search 'boat graphics' in google and check local sign makers.

Yeah, if you are not sure of the paint then I agree on the vinyl. There are some paints that don't work with others.

Yup, go to a local sign shop, they can get any font and size you want and it will be perfect.

They will install it for a couple extra bucks too, pretty painless.
