Lakes around Winnipeg?

I know there are a few Manitobans and west Ontario folks here. Anyone know or have a number of someone who would know if there is a lake open?

This weekend looks warm....eager to get her in the water.

Lac du Bonnet is open. I used the boat launch by the skinny bridge on April 9th.
There were ice flows though. Saw someone heading towards the lake so it might be open as well.

Falcon might be open.

Thanks Marc....I called Jessica Lake Lodge and they say the lake is open.

First time out with this boat so I want to have a co-pilot with me, but I'm hoping to get out there Sunday. I was going to avoid rivers for the first time just incase we have an issue I'm not fighting a current. (and runoff debris)

I know how you feel. I was afraid I'd conk out and drift all the way to McArthur Falls.

Lac Du Bonnet, Now that brings back memories. I had summer holidays there for many years as a kid growing up. Caught may pickerel ( Walleye now a days) and loved the lake.

Another couple of weeks my new-to-me Sylvan will be headed to Lac Du B. for her test run as well.
