1985 90hp yamaha tact. wiring

I got a new motor for my boat and it came with a tact. the problem is it was just taken off and thrown in a bag so i have no idea which wires go where if anyone has a diagram it would help me out

What model # motor and what model # tach.

no numbers on the tact only number i could find on the motor that looks like a serial number is 68802

What is the make of the tach? CAN YOU POST PICS OF FRONT AND BACK?

My C40TLRX wiring for tach is
Y-key on power
B- ground
g-signal to tach

no idea the make of the tact just says yamaha on it no pictures i dont know what the old lady did with the camera... have found a number for the tach

So it is a Yamaha.
Is it an analog or digital and what kind of connections are on it? Wire colors?

analog

G: yellow and yellow with red strip
Y: yellow and green with red strip
R: yellow and green

it also has green and black wires and blue and black wires coming out of it ill try to find the camera and post pictures

Sorry, I have no idea on the extra connections on that tach

thats alright ive tried hooking them up every way possible and cant get it to work i think there might be something missing
