WOT RPM for a FICHT?

I've searched around a bit trying to find out about WOT RPM for a FICHT engine.

Is WOT RPM as critical to a DI engine as much as it is to a carbed engine? Should a FICHT be seeing a minimum of 5800 WOT RPM also to not be lugged?

This would be for a 200HP FICHT, just a general inquiry, not for a specific year or anything.

Thanks.

Have the experts just not been around yet, or do most guys not know all that much about FICHT's? I know I don't know all that much about them.

Thanks.

I'm not 100% sure of the answer, but somebody here HAS to know.

I would think even though it's a DI you'd want to see your WOT RPM in the 5500 area. Not sure if you would get the coking that you'd get from lugging a carbed motor, but I think you'd still be lugging it under 5500.

Not sure if you have to be up at 5800 - 6000 though for a DI though.

So should it be on the higher end of that operating range, like a carbed engine, 5800-6000?

If it's just running at 5500 will that be lugging it?

I figured more experts would know this.

if the motor can acheive 5,500 easy, then it will be OK, if it struggles to get there, then re propping is in order 5,500 to 6,000 is ideal.
