I replaced the alternator on my 2001 Rinker with a 5.7 Mercruiser engine. While changing it out, i saw that the two small wires that terminate in a small waterproof plug had a larger orange wire that was apparently cut off and wrapped up in electrical tape. What does/did that larger orange wire go to (on both ends)?????
