Brand new to the forum. thanks for any advise. I have a 50 hp short shaft 1980/81 merc. but the old motor was a long shaft. What are my options for mounting this on my 1982 alumacraft boat. The transom on the boat is 21in. T he motor is manual tilt and trim. I also have the long shaft off of an 80hp 1972 merc. will they inner change.
