:confused:Hello to everybody out there. This is my first time posting and I'm hoping to get some help. I have a 1992 Johnson fast strike 150 and it keeps dieing while running. I check for fire and nothing. After 5 to 10 minutes it starts up and sometimes it may do it a couple of time more during my fishing and sometime it doesnt do it untill a trip or two later. Last week it did it to me again but this time it left me stranded for more than an hour. When I got home it started up with no problem. At one time i figured something was getting hot but last time i was no more than a minute ride from the ramp. I havent been able to figure out a pattern. Any suggestions?

Loose or corroded connection, short somewhere.................cracked plug wires, other ign wires, kill switch, etc............ crank it in the dark and watch for sparks where they should not be..................
