The van/boat looks like a carbon monoxide trap. Note the rod racks on the side.

I've seen good home-made (well, teen-aged boy made) rafts with oil drum pontoons.

how about the Ford station wagon with the rear hatch up , and front windows open....that sucks the exhaust right into the cab when it is moving.
When I was in my teens, I worked for a carpet installer...he had a 63 Ford van...if we had a 12' roll hanging out the back doors, front windows stayed shut..it was obvious from the oil it burned (smoke)if they were open...

I've seen the station wagon trick firsthand with a small truck towing a jet ski trailer. And not 30 seconds after I saw it, and 3 minutes into his trip, the whole mess came apart and dropped the trailer in the street.

i know its totally ludacris, but i liked the van enclosure,
oh no, ive been living out in the woods to long, im going to look for an old boat and old van,
btw why are the rod holders on the side, must suck fishin out of that, ill come up w/ a better solution.
oh man, to much methane from the cow/horse chips, i cant think straight.
