hi hope you guys can help my boat has a 3 liter engine with a alpha 1 gen2 outdrive 1994 outdrive was replaced 3 yrs ago with a se116 outdrive my problem is two fold when i push in the throttle only button the controls still shift the outdrive into gear also when shifting from forward toneutral i hace to go by where neutral should be and when going into neutral from reverse i have to go by neutral in the other direction i have adjusted the lower cable several times with the manual and done all the checks for excessive play several times someone sugested that there could be a problem in the control box any help you guys can give is greatly appreciated
