What size winch?

I have a winch that will need to be replaced soon, not sure on what size it is. I have a 22ft Scarab that weighs roughly 5k. What size winch do I need for my trailer?

Get a winch rated for over 5k. its that simple. do u need a new winch or cable?...they have cable replacements along with strap type ones...check into this..alot cheaper...gday

Ayuh,... You're only trying to drag it up the trailer,... Not dead lift it....

A 1000lb winch is Plenty....

Teeth on the winch are going bad, have to replace.

I was going to go with a 2k but I can give the 1k a try.
