Went to the lake today and ran my 90 hp merc wide open. While there and doing a little trolling I had kicked up a little mud (not much at all) Motor pees good as I put in a new impeller last season.
I got home to clean up the boat and took the cowling off and immediately noticed a dusting of dirt in the bottom of the cowling. Obviously I had a water leak while I was at the lake. I started the motor on the hose and couldnt determine where it was coming from. I did notice a zip tie missing on one end of the pee hose.
Could that have been the problem or am i not that lucky. Has this happened to anyone.
