Mercruser oil drain hose leader broke off...Oil Change?

My Merc I/O oil drain hose leader off my drain plug broke and now cant pull the hose for oil changes....
This is on a warrentee boat and engine. Called Merc and they said... Gee we never heard of that.
See if someone can push it out with a broomstick handle or hook it with a coat hanger and pull it thru from the outside???:confused:

Please help!

My first question, did you call Mercruiser, or just a local Mercruiser dealer? Big difference.

Did the clip come loose, or did something break.

Ayuh,.... Somebody is going to crawl down in there,+ push it out....
Either You, or somebody else...

Donno if a warranty will cover such a thing or Not....
