Having problems with starting my Mercury Outboard.
To first start off, I don't know much about boats.
Ok, so I last started the boat in September, after that we stored it in a garage until now.
We did put fuel stabilizer in the fuel tank with a full tank (25L). We did put in a little too much in the tank, but we didn't think it would lead us to problems.
So, we tried starting it, today. The outcome wasn't really great. The engine was firing, and even shown signs of wanting to start up, but it just died everytime.
I checked the spark plugs, they did have some oil on them, which we wiped off. Battery was fully charged (That is, until we were finished trying. It was dead, lol)
All cylinders are firing as well.
Could this be the fuel? Could it be bad? By the way, it's a 50:1 mix, and we used the correct oil to mix with the gas.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
We are going to try again tomorrow, but I think we'll have the same outcome as we did today, so I thought I'd post here for help.

I would drain and clean the fuel system including the carbs. Also a fresh set of plugs.
