Mixing oil ratio?

I just received my motor back from rebuild. ( bored out, new pistons, rings, rods, pins, ect..)

I removed the oil injection and decided to tank mix instead.

Wondering what type of mixture I should run for the break in?

Then the mixture to use for normal use after break in?

Thanks

Ask the rebuilder. He's the one that warrantees it.

Also, if you removed the oil injection, it may void his warranty, mostly because if it is not done properly you could have loose parts inside the engine.

hope it helps

Re: Mixing oil ratio?

Usually 25:1 for break in and 50:1 for regular use. See what the mechanic recommends.

Okay. In that case I agree with the Dawg. 24:1 for break-in, 50:1 after.

Good luck. :)
