Yes, but it can be a bit fiddly, best way are to remove the whole carb ( and give it a good cleaning at the same time )

an can you buy just the floats. Thanks for any info.

Mercury #1395-8673 Float assy, are $10.76 pr float.
OR
Sierra part #18-7208 , can be found here on Iboats ...

The bowls are not removeable. The bowl covers are removeable using a 5/16" nut driver. Floats are avail seperately.

you have to remove the carbs to set the float height anyway -might as weel get a gasket kit and new inlet needles ( usually seperate from the kit ) when you set the floats dont be too hard on yourself with specs - just turn the carb upside down and bend the tab to get the bottom of the float ( now the top because its upside down) paralell to edge -hopefully my diagram was uploaded correctly for you to see what i mean .

You do not need to remove the carbs to set the float height. You do need to remove the carb covers to set the carb float height. Be careful not to lose any of the levers or rods.

Float levers need to be set (carb cover inverted) to be parallel with the carb bowl covers. A manual is good to have.
