I have a 1990 Celebrity 23' bowrider, 1995 Mercruiser 454 V8 engine (I don't think it's a magnum), and Bravo 1 outdrive. I use a ski prop (stainless steel, three-blade, 15 x 17) for towing skiers. With that prop, however, I must be careful not to over-rev the engine (over 4,500 rpm) when not towing skiers and when the boat has a light load. Can anyone suggest an appropriate speed prop for when I want to go just for top-end speed?
