thanks alot man i would really appreciate it, i am very seriously thinking of going this route but would like to see some pictures of some installed and hear if people like it or not.

I'd also like to know this too. I would prefer not to mount this thing on my transom (outside).

I apologize, I will get that photo up ASAP.

I actually put mine not in the very center, low part of the bilge, but in an area that is sort of cut off from the lower bilge. Still far enough down to be over water. The pic will clear up what I am awkwardly trying to explain...

Sorry for the delay, I just took these.

This is a shot of the engine, and the shoot thru is in the bottom left corner of the pic, below the water separator/filter.

And a closer shot, hope this helps some. I actually test fitted it in a few different spots, this spot gave me the most accuracy. This one is for a backup depth finder(humminbird 610) I have a Raymarine A65 with a transom mount triducer, and 99% of the time the 2 readings are identical.

You can see where I got some of the epoxy splooge on a hose :redface:

this only works on glass,you would have to drill hole in hull for aluminum and reseal it somehow
