I assume that your pump has a round base with one port pointing straight down and three to the side? If so, then at least nine out of ten times rebuilding or replacing the pump assy. will fix the problem and your power trim will work perfectly for another 10 years or so. If you have the tall skinny pump with square base and all four ports face down then it usually needs an entire system overhaul to fix it. It used to be that new C/F pumps were impossible to find and cost 800-900 each. But I think mallory has started making them for around $500-$600 and they may not be as hard to locate. Search Iboats for Mallory Chrysler Force trim pump. A pump ay rebuild should run about $200 and an total overhaul just over $300.
