I am new here and have my first boat as of 2009 I noticed going across the lake that about mid boat on the floor it flexes a lil. when you press on a pop can and than it pops out again. I mean it is not huge but it does kinda concern me a lil after all I can't swim lol. Also there is a sticker on the back that states that ligher aluminum was used on this boat. My dads boat has 2 layers of aluminum on it and mine only has one seems kinda cheap to me.is this normal on grummans? should I be concerned?

Lots of boats are built that way.
It you want light weight, you use light materials.

You want to see the bottom flex, go jump in a "Sears" 12' aluminum from the 1960's.

As long as it bends but doesn't break that is just fine:)

My 12' AeroCraft does the same and I stopped worrying about it a few decades ago. I just try to step on the ribs or use the removable decking that I built to spread my weight a bit.
