Yesterday, the weather was finally good enough for me to take to the lake and get the winter cobwebs out of the boat Yey!!!

My engine a 2007 Suzuki DF115 started straight up ( I had it professionally winterized last fall) and we headed out. During the day I started the engine several times with no problems, however, it finally dawned on me that when I turned the key to the "firing" position, I should of been hearing a short warning buzzer indicating that all the systems were ok, and to go ahead and start the engine.

I did not hear any buzzer, but the engine started and behaved totally normal.
with no warning light coming on during operation.

Is there something amiss with the engine, or is there some electrical problem that I should be aware of?

Thank you

I do not think that it is a check that all systems are ok, but a check of the warning buzzer to let you know it is functioning. you may want to make sure it works if it use to sound and now it does not.

Owners manual should have this info. The horn/alarm should beep once, and warning lights go off, red lights come on when key turned on.
