Removing powerhead on 1976 Johnson 35 hp Seahorse

I have removed the four bolts under the cowel connecting to the powerhead yet there appears to be two others tightly located next to the cowel and powerhead on the upper side. Does the cowel have to be removed to access these bolts? and how do you remove it so I can remove the powerhead?

You can remove them without removing the cowl. I have a bent wrench I use to loosen them with, now and then I have to loosen one by knocking on it with a sharp chiesel. They can be tricky sometimes. The cowl isnt removeable before you have the powerhead off.
