Jeff,
Most 2 cycle engines will have some amount of oil seeping from the prop. It has to do with the oil mix to gas ratio or the engine speed it was run at. I have a 1984 Merc 150 V6, and if I don't run it past 4000 rpms for a good distance, it never gets totally warm enough to burn off the oil completely and I occasionally get the same symtom you are having.

However, if this oil looks like the 90 weight oil in your lower unit, then you should investigate your lower unit to see if the oil in it is milky. If it is milky, you have a leaking seal; water may slowly be displacing your lower unit oil and it will seep from the prop.
