broccoli for kids! I rinse it, sprinkle lemon pepper and garlic powder, steam it for a few mins, til it gets that cool dark green luminescent color, put in bowl with butter.. and it's a snack/dinner side???
Holy cow! Ummmm ok............ and they love it??? My mom will have a fit!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!

Next try brussel sprouts cut in half tossed with olive oil roasted in the oven with some bacon crumbled on top.

my son loved brussel sprouts last year - then he got burned out on them, lol , sounds good though!

Happy to say my kids love broccoli they eat it raw along with carrots and tomatoes. It has been this way since they were babies. my wife just now started cooking brussel sprouts wrapped in bacon, they just can't seem to get enough of it. BUT they won't a hamburger :eek:
