I have a 1995 Bayliner Capri 1704 sf that when i purchased did not have a trolling motor on it or the bracket. The problem is that the bow is curved ,so no flat surface to mount a new trolling motor to. I am wondering where to find a bracket, (new or used). I have called a few places that are Bayliner dealers and have been told a couple of different things. One, that the boat is too old and Bayliner doesn't make the parts anymore. The other said he can order it from Bayliner but will cost close to $400! (for a bracket?) OUCH!
