Flooring Question

Is there a type of vinyl or plastic flooring that I can use to replace my carpet ?
If so can I replace it myself and is fairly easy to come by ?

there are marine vinyl products, roll on finishes similar to paint way more durable, search on line for marine vinyl flooring and marine deck paints.
both are diy i think the paint style is easier, especially if you have to seam the vinyl together.

You can do vinyl yourself but just lkike in your house the deck has to be really flat as any iregularities will show through.

Carpet is generally glued on and can be a real bear to get off so that woudl be your first challenge, then getting all the glue off.

It is doable, i woudln't say it is easy but it would certainly be worth it.
