In my own personal opinion I would say go for it. The attwwod pumps are overall cheaper than rule but not by half price. So that is a decent deal in my mind.
I sell alot of attwood stuff personally and I also replaced a burned up rule with an attwood in one of my boats last summer.
if you have any question as far as piece of mind goes....pumps can always fail. No matter the brand or price. I just make it routine to check them very often!!
And I am pretty sure that both brands are made overseas anyway sooooooo.......
It is your call but I would save a few dollars now because you know that is not the only maintenance you'll need this year!!!
