Coupler - GM 4 cyl. can they be rebuilt?

I have a coupler of a 140 HP Mercruiser GM and the aluminum splines are almost gone.
In this day and tech., does someone rebuild them?

I do not think you can buy rebuilt ones.
I have purchased two couplers for my GM 4 cylinder.
1st one was an old style, which unfortunately about 30 hrs later the engine failed from another issue.
2nd one was for the replacement engine I installed which was a newer engine with a different flywheel which took another coupler.

I found e-bay has some good deals on couplers.
Also consider replacing the input shaft if the splines also look worn. My first replacement was because the coupler failed and I needed to replace both coupler and splines.

EDIT: Not allowed on forums.

I have yet to see a rebuilt coupler for sale.

Couplers fail from mis-alignmment, period!!!!!
Engine stringers rotted, rear mounts bad,loose engine mounts,rotted transom flex.

In a word, No. You must replace it.

If you do it yourself, ensure that you align it properly using the correct tool or you will be replacing it again.

Ayuh,.. Nobody Rebuilds throw-away parts...
It's a single use, Toss it part...
