i have a 1983 mercury 7.5 hsp outboard serial # 6241553----i don't know model # 'cause its not listed anywhere on the motor,could you please tell me what the model # is ? and,another question i have is when i pull the pull cord,it stickes and won't retract,is problem do to a bad recoil spring ,"cause i rewound the rope many times, but it still reacts the same.....what can i do to resolve this problem ? i checked on i- boats for new spring ,but there out of stock and i don't know if they'll get anymore,can i do something to this to fix ?
