The trim tab andode is missing on my '88 Cobra drive and I can't seem to find one anywhere. Is it a problem if it's not there? Does anyone knows of a boneyard I get one at?

Re: OMC Trim Tab Anode

GLM makes them...part number 29900.

You may get one from a Johnson-Evinrude dealer.I think the older V-6 outboards used the same tab.
If the steering is not pulling or having issues at speed then it really is not needed.

Here is one on Ebay,

I don't think the trim tab was considered to be an anode on those drives..
Here is the anode kit.
