did the tell tale hose come loose where it attaches to the engine?? Head gaskets usually blow when motor has been run hot. Since its a 2002 has the water pump ever been replaced?? also check and make sure your over heat alarm is working, by grounding out the wire going to the temp sensor. I am not sure what color the wire is on e-tecs or where its located, but should be near the top of the head somewhere.
