i have a 1988 cajun 18 1/2ft ricky green bass boat that i just bought.question is where is the gas tank on this boat located?seems like a dumb question but all compartments in back are empty other than batteries, oil tank ect.fill cap is just behind drivers seat.my only thought is it almost has to be under drivers seats.also does anyone know capacity of tank?this boat is 100% original.from seats to carpet and in great shape.in saying back is empty, i dont mean there is a space where a tank should be.theres a small one where oil tank and cranking battery are.theres another on other side where tm batteries are.then theres round screw cap for access port in between them.then towards seats theres two livewells.thats it.just curious about location.would really like capacity info for premixing.thank you

Is there a fuel filler somewhere on the gunwales or transom area? How about a fuel tank vent somewhere on the hull? Your boat is a little large to use portable tanks, but I suppose it's possible.

Re: 88 cajun question

as stated in question, the gas filler cap is just behind drivers seat on gunwale.there is no space large enough to accomodate portable tanks.i know its there somewhere, just curious as to where because dont beleive it could be very large no matter where its at due to size of areas where it could be.again i would really like capacity info as i will be premixing.boat is an 88 18 1/2ft.cajun ricky green fishing machine w/88 mercury black max 150.

Hope it has a big tank...my buddies black max was real pig.

That said, if the tank is on board it's typically under the deck (floor) about mid way..a little more towards the back than actual dead center.
