I have a chance to buy 2003 and 2004 Mercury 4 stroke. one is a 35hp the other is a 40hp both big foot model. The 03 35hp will be checked by local dealer. Price $2600-$2700 Not sure if it has t/t. I have aftermarket t/t anyway. The 04 is 40hp with controls and t/t and is fuel injected, not checked but is suppose to be good. Price at $3000. Are these good motors, any known problems. Any input is welcome. Thanks
