2003 Johson 8hp 10 hrs

Used on small sailboat at slow speeds..plugs get oily...doesn't run clean should I get a hotter plug? Recomendations?

newer fuel, the motor is not even broken in yet. the original plug is the type to run in it. have you changed the impeller, should be done every 2 years, the rubber degrades whether used or not.
