2000 boat or new motor for my 96 both 10k

I have a 96 trophy 17'CC with a 96 90hp force. I was thinking of putting a new 115 Merc on it or I could buy a nice 2005 Nitro with a 115 Merc for the same price. I will be keeping my trophy that the force needs a flywheel. I don't know. Anyone had to think about this? How did it turn out. I love to bass fish, family likes the tubing.

family and nitro don't go together in my mind, unless the nitro isn't a full blown bass boat.. 2 or 3 seater? is the nitro a f/s (fish/ski)?

lots of room for peoples (family) on a cc. i assume you mean center console and not cuddy cabin..

personally sell the force (part out) take that $$ along with the $10,000 and buy an ETEC.

Buy the Nitro, switch the motors, sell the Nitro.
