I have a 1998 Johnson 4HP Outboard Model# J4BRECRJ. I am trying to figure out which spark plug I need. I found these model numbers, but I am not sure which one I need. Thank you and God bless.

The Champion QL86C is the recommended plug for your motor. Part # 437682.

Thank you. Do they have these at auto stores or Walmart or is this something I will need to get from a marine store?

If auto parts stores don't have them in stock they can certainly order them; ask for Champion 933.

Make sure that they are for Boats. Guy before me put tractor plugs in and my 40hp went 5mph full throttle. New plugs: 20-25mph
