I am just about to take out the carpeted plywood (soft spots). Has anyone tried a rubberized non skid paint on plywood similar to truck bed spray on liners? Any other ideas?

Thanks

yep spray or brush in box liners works great, im going to do that to mine. They are starting to sell new boats with similar to or the same as those box liners instead of carpet that is going to mold lol

Durabak is the best type of non-slip coating to use on a boat...but it is pricey.

There is a product called "grizzly grip" that is pretty good also. You may want to consider marine vinyl as well since it lasts forever, has great grip, and is easy to clean. That's what I'm putting down on my deck in my SS.

Thanks, I appreciate the input. Looks like I'll go that way.
