I am finishing up installing all my new electronics, and am unsure of how heavy a wire to use between my fuse block, and battery switch.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

#10 if you want 30 amps and #8 if you want 40 amps.

Make sure the ground wire is the same size or larger.

http://www.rbeelectronics.com/wtable.htm

Go down to the third table. Pick your voltage and about how many amps you're pulling then move over to how many feet you're going with the wire and you get what size to use. Remember to add up how long both positive and negative are. (ex: 10ft pos, 5ft neg = 15ft).

Hope this helps

Just trying to help. Not sure what you don't think people will know or at least what they can find out. It's pretty easy. They even give you help right on the page for every item.

voltage 12v or 24v - drop down menu - should know that one
load in amps? should know that one if your wiring anything
length - duh - how far is the wire you are running.
voltage drop- most important one to figure out. Read their help on the right with that one. It tells you what you want to know.
type of load - gives you two options - fixed or variable. again see help
temp rating - not that important for general appications- you can use typical, again see help

Done - what's so hard? If you are doing the wiring, you should know these things, otherwise let someone else do it.
