hey guys checked with my local fiber glass suppy guy he has 5gal drum of polyester resin for $102, 8oz mekp $5.70, pint of wax $5.04, hes about 20 miles away, thinking these prices dont sound to bad just wondering, looking to start slapping glass soon.

Well 20 miles is great...... normally resin's are shipped hazmat ..........

check on the net between iboats and uscomposites......

you really have pretty fair prices there for poly resin ;)

Greta deal. I pay 150.00 cad for a drum here from Composite One. Just to add, Industrial plastics buys the same drum and fills their 4L jugs and 5 gal pails. Can you imagine the money they make?

that was the idea on going to get it, saving the shipping and hazmat charges,
as well as stopping at a buds house on the river for a beer, lousy day but being near the water is good even when its bad.

I was told hazmat actually applies to the catalyst.
I buy catalyst at the hardware store cheaper with no fees.

Those prices are good.;)
Skip the wax.
