I have a 1971 1350 and I want to make sure the upper crank seal is installed correctly. It is in there with the lip facing down. Also the lower crank seals are in there with the lips facing down. Is that correct that all the seal lips on the crank are down?
Also Is it correct that the very top seal on the water pump housing is installed with the lip facing up?
I have no reason to suspect they were installed incorrectly I just want to be sure they are right.
