I was lucky enought to spot a 1970 Caravelle that was being sold for parts.
The interior was very good with a bad engine and no outdrive.
The side panels had a very nice tuffted maroon vinyl with top rails and bottom shelving. When I looked close it appears the vinyle was glued directly to the fiberglass hull.
I pulled it free in one piece. The glue must have lost its adhesion.
I did both sides with the same results. The seats I also took.
Anyway the guy told me 25.00 for all the suff!
My question si I want to restore my 1970 V145 with these items.
Can I glue the side vinyl directly on the inside of the hull ?
There are not wood panels in the Glastron.
Any help would be apprciated.

Jim

PS The tuffted side vinyl has a felt like backing about 1/4" thickness.
The bottom on the vinyl (deck end) is not mildewed at all.
