Mercury 3.0L I/O wont start, no EEK nothing.

Only had boat a year, was out riding today, and she just quit. thought in might be a fuse prob or somethin simple but when I turned the key I got nothin:redface:.Horn, lights, blower, and outdrive still tilts up, but no eek and no crank at all... Oh, main battery, and my back up battery are brand new and fully charged. Where do I start at this point, could it be a fuse that I just can't find?:(

Could be a lot of things. Assuming you are referring to a MERCRUISER IO and not a Mercury OB 3.0L.
Does it have a year or a SN? Things have changed over the years.

Ayuh,... Follow the Power,... Battery, starter, igntion, etc...
Depending on the vintage, there could be a square fuse mounted at the starter....
The big cannon plug could also be loose...
