I'm going to order a new Lund Rebel 1475 in a month. It comes with a 30hp Merc. That's the biggest motor for the boat. The boat weight about 650 lbs and the motor is about 150. How fast do you think this set up well go?
No sure, but as a comparison my 14' flatbottom Jon tops out at 28MPH on GPS with 1 person and 12 gallons aboard. It's got an Evinrude 25, a small console and a bow trolling motor.
