gbox is stuffed,
parts are expensive, since honda's being scraped is a bit rarer than a mercury outboard,
i was wondering if anyone out there knows if it is possible to use a mercury gear box as a direct replacement? and do you know what parts need to be swapped for this to work.
if anyone does, do they know the motor year and hp that the gearbox from a mercury would come off.
anyone with experience with this problem would be many thanks if there was a bit of help, or knowledge or advice
