Hi all, I have created a dilemma for myself. I am going to purchase a Minnkota Terrova 80 bow mount trolling motor for my 92 Lund. It requires a 24 volt system to operate. My boat has 2 12V batteries, one for cranking and one for accessories. The room in the back where my batteries are is very limited.
My question is this. To save room, do I replace my accessory 12V battery with a 24V battery to run the trolling motor, or find room for another battery and use 2 12V batteries to run it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
