Hi,

I am a 1st time boat owner And I am trying to get my boat ready for spring.
I a looking for a shift cable for an OMC drive. It is for a 1985 Baha Islander.The pt # in the book is 982563, But the cable may have the # 982802 on it. It goes from the back of motor to the drive. It is a push pull cable.

Any help would be appreciated. Ed

Part numbers change all the time. If ordering online best to call the store and provide them with the full model and serial number of your engine and drive. Or find a local Johnson/Evinrude OB dealer and give them your numbers.

Ayuh,... Sounds like you've got a Stringer drive,..??
