Ok, I tried searching and I am sure that this has been addressed previously but my search technique probably was not the best... so bare with me.
I have a 96 Corwnline BR, that we have on a small lake.. We commonly beach the boat at a common swim area. Due to this my gel coat has worn to a ruff scratchy finish over the front area where the boat meets the shore, and there is a bout a 6 inch by 1/4 inch sliver where I can see the fiberglass, basically where it has worn through the gel coat (as i understand it), besides the obvious of no longer beaching the boat... what kind of repair is in order that would stand up to the continued abuse of beaching????
I can DIY for a lot of things but have never messed with fiberglass, gelcoat or any such epoxy type work.
Should said repair be done by a professional and if so what would somethinglike this cost?
Thanks for your help.
