Test the shift switch to make sure it works. If it dosen't, the unit isn't worth much.
A smart buyer will also want to know the condition of mounting plate, where it is fastened to the inside of the control unit. That section of the switch is a plastic material and they get brittle. The only way to check this, is to open the control unit examine it.
Its hard to say what your unit is worth. I've heard of people paying a few hundred dollars for them, but I've managed to get a couple for much less than that. It all depends on the condition, the motivation of the seller aand the motivation of the buyer.
